Ready, set, read! Book Week officially began at Mill Hill International School Thailand with the loud ring of a bell and the highly anticipated start of our Teacher Reading Race.

The hallways were buzzing with excitement as children enthusiastically cheered on their teachers, who raced against the clock to visit as many homerooms as possible. In each room, teachers shared a quick, captivating story from their favourite books before dashing off to the next class before time ran out.

Sparking a lifelong love of reading

It was a fantastic and energetic way to spark a love for reading and get the whole school community involved. Nurturing a lifelong love of books sits at the heart of a truly authentic British education, and this is just the first of many exciting events planned to celebrate the magic of books this week.
