Walk around our campus during break times this term and you will hear something new: the quick, cheerful click of table tennis balls in play. Mill Hill International School Thailand has welcomed brand new table tennis tables to campus, and they have quickly become one of the most popular spots in school.

More than a break time game

While the laughter is plentiful, table tennis is doing quiet, wonderful work for our pupils. As the rallies fly back and forth, children are developing:

• Sharper focus, tracking the ball and anticipating each shot.
• Hand-eye coordination, refined with every return.
• Self-confidence, growing game by game.
• Social skills, as they take turns, encourage one another, and play fairly.

Active, social play beyond the classroom

At Mill Hill, we believe learning happens everywhere, not only at the desk. Free, active play at break time supports concentration in lessons, builds friendships across year groups, and helps children develop the resilience and creativity that sit at the heart of the Mill Hill Mindset.

Whether our pupils are seasoned players or picking up a paddle for the very first time, the friendly competition and shared laughter are bringing our school community even closer together.
