Strengthening Home–School Partnerships in Early Years
January 30, 2026

At Mill Hill International School Thailand, we believe that learning becomes truly meaningful when children, parents, and teachers work together in partnership. Our Share & Learn sessions in the Early Years are designed to strengthen the connection between home and school, while giving parents valuable insight into their child’s learning experience.

Share & Learn Sessions – Nursery and Reception

Our Share & Learn sessions in both Nursery and Reception provided a warm and welcoming opportunity for parents to step into the classroom and learn alongside their children. Through carefully planned, age-appropriate activities, parents were able to observe how children explore, play, communicate, and develop confidence within a nurturing Early Years environment.

During the sessions, parents joined their children in classroom activities, experiencing first-hand the joy, curiosity, and enthusiasm that characterise learning in the Early Years. These shared moments allowed families to create meaningful memories together, while supporting children’s social, emotional, and communication skills.

The sessions also offered valuable insight into how the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum supports children’s holistic development, both academically and personally. Learning side by side helped children feel proud of their achievements and strengthened their sense of belonging within the school community.

Building Strong Home–School Relationships

Share & Learn sessions play an important role in fostering strong partnerships between parents and the school. They provide opportunities for open communication, shared understanding, and mutual support, all of which are essential to a child’s success.

We sincerely thank our parents for taking the time to join these sessions and for being such an important part of their child’s learning journey. Together, we are building a caring and connected community where every child is supported to grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
