  • While Your Child Tries a School Day, You Get to Know Mill Hill Thailand
Your child joins a real class. You get your own school visit. One Thursday, two perspectives
October 16, 2026

Choosing a school is a decision you make together, and it is far easier when you have both seen it for yourselves. This November, Mill Hill International School Thailand invites families with children in Year 5 to Year 9 to spend a Thursday with us. Your child joins a real class for a full school day, and you have your own visit: time to walk the campus, understand how we teach and ask every question you have.

Your visit, while your child is in class

Many parents tell us the hardest part of choosing a school is knowing what a normal day is really like. On a trial day you see it as it happens, not as a presentation.

  • A tour of the campus on a normal school day, with lessons in progress
  • An introduction to the British curriculum we follow, and how it works from Year 5 to Year 9
  • Time with our Admissions team to talk through fees, scholarships and anything else on your mind

By the end of the day, you will have seen the school through your own eyes, and heard about it through your child’s.

Meanwhile, your child’s day

  • 07:30 Welcome. Your child receives a Mill Hill Thailand uniform and their own ID card for the day.
  • 08:05 Lessons with a real class. They follow the normal timetable alongside current pupils, taught by our teachers.
  • Midday: snack and lunch with a Mill Hill Buddy. A current pupil looks after them and introduces them to their classmates.
  • 13:00 Afternoon lessons and activities. The rest of a normal school day.
  • 15:00 Reflection. A short chat about their day, then home at 15:30.

Dates and who the trial day is for

  • Every Thursday in November 2026: 5, 12, 19 and 26 November
  • For children entering Year 5 to Year 9 (ages 9 to 14)
  • 07:30 to 15:30
  • 10 places each Thursday, up to 2 per year group

How to register

Places are limited to 10 each Thursday. Choose your child’s year group and preferred Thursday on the registration form. All applicants complete an assessment before their trial day, and places are confirmed by the school following the assessment.
